Work done in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona which was to close the gap with a kitchen since the client preferred it this way. To do this we developed a laminated glass composed enclosure 5 +5, ie two glasses of 5 mm by a foil adhered to each other, thus avoiding its fall in case of breakage. In the outline chose a stainless steel profile 15×15 mm U, which together with the glass materials are very suitable to put in a kitchen, because of its easy cleaning and hygiene. We matt the glass to the height specified by the customer. The joints were sealed with silicone neutral high quality, which are easy to clean with respect to other low-grade silicone. You can develop other structures for such gaps, both in materials or finished forms and can adapt to the needs or tastes of each client.
