This work consisted of removing some old awnings in a penthouse in Barcelona and install new ones with current technology. This workshop was made in a structure made of iron tube 60×60 mm welded and painted white which served to hold the vertical rails of the canopy, as seen in the second picture. Most material had to carry it up the front since with elevator they were very long and heavy pieces. The canopy attached to 11 meters wide and 5 meters out of canvas, all manufactured in two pieces. This type of awning canvas remains taut at all times despite their actions, since the guidelines incorporate a hydraulic spring inside, which exert strong enough for this purpose. In addition is a aluminium box-type model, ie once fully protects collected canvas awning outside. Somfy RTS also incorporates automatic, motorized awnings and synchronized with each other via remote control, which offer the possibility to attach favorite positions to suit the client. For security reasons, we incorporate a wind sensor, which adjust the sensitivity of it, collects the awnings when the wind exceeds a certain force, and can also add light sensor, when the sun itself unfolds, and collected when night comes automatically. In Ponsico s.c.p. took over 30 years installing Somfy motors for awnings and blinds. Wall anchors chemical block were performed with a two-component mixture which provides much more reliable than the conventional plastic wad.
